You will have a customer service background where you have developed strong communication skills, a good work ethic and pride in delivering excellent service. This is a truly diverse IT role. Whilst providing first-line support is a core part of the position, we encourage everyone to collaborate, contribute ideas, and get involved across the wider IT function. You'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects, and make a real impact across the business. You will have experience or knowledge of most of the following: · Desktop support · Installing/Configuring and Supporting Microsoft Windows 11 · Understand IP and Networking · Active Directory Administration (passwords), users, groups, permissions) · Azure Active Directory · Microsoft Office 365 (passwords, users, groups, permissions) · Service management ticket based systems · Mac Support experience (beneficial) · Laptop/PC diagnostics, upgrades and repair · Knowledge of server operating system and network architecture (DNS,DHCP, TCP/IP) · Experience of following documented processes and procedures You will have good Maths and English skills (shown by Level 2 qualification or above). Qualifications in IT support or Microsoft Certified Professional accreditations are desirable but not essential: we are more interested in your practical experience in the workplace and your customer focus., * Have you previously worked at a managed service provider * Do you have Knowledge of Microsoft 365 - this is essential * Do you hold a minimum of a level 2 qualification (or equivalent) in both Maths and English? Experience: * 1st line support experience o: 1 year (required) ## Description Priority IT is an established IT support provider with a diverse range of clients across Wiltshire and Somerset. We take pride in being the superheroes of IT support, working with local businesses ranging from 1 to 50 computer users. We have a strong community focus and founded and setup Wiltshire Digital Drive project aiming to bridge the digital divide. We're looking for a new team member with a broad range of computer skills and great customer service focus, who is proactive and enjoys identifying and solving problems. This is a truly diverse IT role. Whilst providing first-line support is a core part of the position, we encourage everyone to collaborate, and contribute ideas. You'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects, and make a real impact across the business. To be successful in this role, you will enjoy meeting other people and building good working relationships with our clients both face to face and by telephone, delivering service at an extremely high standard. You can expect to spend two weekly visits onsite with clients and the remainder of the week in the office, so if your comfort zone is being behind your desk, this role may not be for you! Your day-to-day duties will include liaising with computer users to troubleshoot and resolve problems, helping with installation or upgrading of systems and equipment, plus analysing data to spot and fix issues behind the scenes.
