## About the Role

We are looking for a talented and driven Service Application Engineer to join our growing Technology team in Madrid., Qualifications3+ years of experience in IT Operations Support, Application Support, Service Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or similar roles.
Bachelor's in Telecommunications, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related studies.
Required
SkillsHands-on experience with Kubernetes and microservices-based environments.
Experience operating and troubleshooting Apache Kafka / Confluent Kafka.
Strong Linux/Unix administration and scripting skills (Shell, Python or similar).Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as ELK (Kibana, Elasticsearch) and OTel.
Knowledge of databases and SQL.Experience in log analysis, incident troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
Automation-first mindset with a focus on operational excellence.
Professional English (B2 or higher).Soft SkillsStrong communication and collaboration skills. Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
Ownership, adaptability, and continuous learning attitude.
Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, production-critical environments.
Customer and service-oriented mindset.

This is a critical role supporting the applications behind our smart alarm services, ensuring the availability, reliability, and performance of systems that our customers rely on every day. Working closely with development, infrastructure, and operations teams, you will help resolve complex production challenges, drive automation initiatives, and contribute to our transition towards a DevOps and reliability-focused operating model.

ResponsibilitiesEnsure the availability, reliability, and performance of business-critical applications and services. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents to minimize service disruption.
Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to improve system scalability, resilience, and protection.
Analyze logs, metrics, and system behavior to identify root causes and optimize performance. Maintain technical documentation and contribute to disaster recovery and operational best practices.
