## About the Role

* U.S. Citizenship
 * Level 1 - BS Degree
 * Level 2 - BS in applicable field and up to 3 years of experience
 * Level 3 - BS in applicable field and 3-10 years of experience
 * Level 4 - BS or MS in applicable field and 10+ years of experience
 * Must be able to obtain a Secret DoW Security clearance with active investigation. Must be able to maintain required clearance.

## Description

As an IT Specialist your duties include, but are not limited to the following:

 * Administer cloud and on-premises technologies including Office 365, Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, Active Directory, OneDrive, and Intune.
 * Create, configure, and maintain virtual and physical machines in a multi-platform environment.
 * Provide advanced technical support and respond to escalated service requests.
 * Troubleshoot and remediate hardware, software, and system issues.
 * Monitor system performance, identify trends and problem areas, and ensure issues are resolved through established support processes.
 * Collaborate with IT team members to ensure services meet operational requirements for internal and external customers.
 * Support evaluation and implementation of emerging technologies and future IT initiatives.
 * Maintain complete and accurate operational support documentation.
 * Utilize ticketing systems to document, track, and report customer and system issues through resolution.
 * Communicate project status and support activities effectively with team members and stakeholders.
 * Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions.
 * Exercise sound judgment and discretion in daily operations.
 * Perform other duties as assigned.
