This is initially a 6 month contract with very good prospects to extend and will be a remote role that will be based UK-wide. Our client is seeking an experienced Lead Developer to lead engineering delivery across a dual-track programme spanning a legacy Java platform and a new cloud-native AWS service. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity where you will drive technical delivery, improve engineering standards, enhance team collaboration and lead low-level design across both modern and legacy environments. Working closely with architects, principal developers and stakeholders, you will play a key role in shaping engineering practices, supporting delivery outcomes and raising team capability.
