Agent guide: [/agents.md](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/agents.md). --- # MIS, Data & Funding Compliance Officer - **Company:** i Jobs - **Location:** Chichester, UK (Remote available) - **Salary:** £42,848.0 - **Contract:** Temporary contract - **Skills:** Data Analysis, Performance Monitor - **Published:** September 15, 2026 - **Apply:** https://www.indeed.com/viewjob?jk=5e99a337a8d8d205 ## About the Role Essential: * Strong experience of post-16/post-19 MIS, learner data, and funding systems * Detailed knowledge of learning and skills funding rules, ILR requirements, and funding assurance processes * Proven experience in data analysis, dashboard reporting, audit preparation, and compliance monitoring * Strong analytical and IT skills, with the ability to interpret complex performance and funding information * Experience maintaining data quality and supporting compliance within a regulated or funding environment * Excellent communication skills and experience working with a range of internal and external stakeholders * Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines * Ability to handle confidential information appropriately * Experience supporting performance management, reporting, and quality assurance * Ability to work independently whilst managing multiple reporting, compliance, and funding deadlines * Basic DBS clearance and the right to work in the UK Desirable: * Experience working in adult education, further education, or skills training * Previous experience within a local authority learning service * Experience with ILR, funding compliance, performance management, and quality assurance * Experience supporting Ofsted inspections, funding audits, or similar external assurance processes * Experience working with direct and commissioned education or training provision * Knowledge of local authority or public sector data, funding, and compliance processes Communication & Stakeholder Skills * Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills * Ability to communicate complex data, funding, and compliance information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders * Confident presenting performance information, risks, trends, and recommendations to senior leaders and external partners * Ability to build effective working relationships with internal teams, external partners, education providers, and funding stakeholders * Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities, deadlines, and compliance requirements, * ILR submissions, funding compliances: 1 year (required) * Ofsted inspections, funding audits: 1 year (required) * post-16/post-19 MIS: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification: * Individualised Learner Record (ILR) (required) * Basic DBS check (required) ## Description We are advertising this role to support the service in the development and management of its management information systems, data reporting, funding compliance, and quality assurance processes.
