The business is investing in the resilience, performance and long-term development of its clean water distribution network, with a strong focus on customer service, asset reliability, operational risk and regulatory compliance. Your new role As Network Analyst, you will provide technical leadership, modelling assurance and network governance across the clean water distribution system. Reporting to the Hydraulic Modelling Manager, you will act as a technical custodian for the network, helping to ensure that operational, developer services and capital investment decisions are supported by robust modelling outputs and sound hydraulic analysis. You will be responsible for assessing network performance, identifying operational and long-term strategic risks, reviewing hydraulic and surge modelling outputs, and providing assurance on decisions that affect capacity, resilience, water quality and customer service. The role will involve close collaboration with operational teams, planning, asset management, capital delivery and developer services stakeholders. Key responsibilities * Act as a technical custodian for the clean water distribution network, supporting safe, efficient and resilient network operation. * Provide senior technical assurance for hydraulic, operational and surge modelling outputs. * Review and approve modelling work that supports capital investment, operational planning and developer services decisions. * Identify risks relating to network capacity, resilience, asset performance, water quality and customer service. * Ensure modelling methodologies and outputs are technically robust, accurate and aligned to internal standards. * Support root-cause investigations relating to bursts, pressure issues, supply interruptions and water quality incidents. * Analyse asset risk, reliability data and operational performance information to inform effective decision-making. * Provide technical input into outage planning, ensuring network capacity and resilience are maintained. * Work with internal stakeholders across operations, planning, developer services, asset management and capital delivery. * Translate complex technical information into clear recommendations and practical operational actions. * Provide out-of-hours support as part of a standby rota when required.
