## About the Role

* Proven experience developing applications using C# and the .NET framework (ASP.NET, .NET Core or .NET 5+)
 * Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns and SOLID principles
 * Experience building or consuming REST APIs and working with microservices architecture
 * Proficiency with SQL and relational databases
 * Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD concepts
 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
 * Authorization to work in the United Kingdom

Nice-to-have

 * Experience with Azure cloud services or AWS
 * Knowledge of Docker and containerisation
 * Exposure to React or other frontend frameworks
 * Familiarity with testing frameworks and test-driven development
 * Microsoft certifications such as Azure Developer Associate or MCSD
 * Experience with Kubernetes or infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform

## Description

This is an opportunity to register your interest in future C# Software Engineer contract positions based in Birmingham, West Midlands. You could be working on projects involving API development, microservices design, Azure cloud migration, CI/CD pipeline implementation and integration with broader platform ecosystems - environments where solid engineering practices and technical collaboration drive delivery forward., * Designing and developing scalable APIs and microservices using C# and ASP.NET

 * Building backend systems that integrate with modern cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
 * Writing clean, maintainable code following SOLID principles and established architectural patterns
 * Contributing to CI/CD pipeline development and deployment automation
 * Collaborating with cross-functional teams on system design and technical problem-solving
 * Working with SQL databases and understanding distributed system concepts
 * Participating in code review, testing and quality assurance processes
 * Supporting the integration of third-party services and platforms where required
