## About the Role

* Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics & communication Engineering with general technical understanding of Electronic/Mechanical components is required;
 * Min. 10+ years of previous design engineering experience within electronics and electronics related products (Power module, ECU design);
 * Should have experience in ADAS /HPC products to run VAVE analysis
 * Experience in working with Onsite customer support activity
 * Previous cost reduction by design improvement experience is desired
 * Flexible, open minded, self-motivated and with an ability to lead teams without direct authority, * Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with general technical understanding of Electronic/Mechanical components is required;
 * Should have knowledge about SAVE methodology (To run complete VAVE Process)
 * Min. 10+ years of previous design engineering experience within electronics and electronics related products (Power module, ECU design, ADAS design);
 * Previous cost reduction by design improvement experience is desired;
 * Program management role or product management role.
 * Lead technical discussions and cross-functional project meetings.
 * Flexible, open minded, self-motivated and with an ability to lead VAVE project.

Good to have skills

 * Experience in facilitating cross functional workshops to develop cost reduction ideas.
 * Experience in negotiating cost delta for any engineering change.

## Description

* Increases profitability by driving design changes or substituting suppliers reducing overall BOM cost;
 * Facilitate cross functional workshops to develop cost reduction ideas; (various team like Engg, Supplier ,Commodity, Purchasing)
 * Drive design changes through engineering systems using established engineering processes (e.g. CPR, SRC, TRB, and CRB & TCCB).
 * Lead technical discussions and cross-functional project meetings;
 * Work with the Test and Validation group to plan and maintain timing to validate the cost-reduction ideas;
 * Present cost reduction ideas to internal and external stakeholders.
 * Support Design to Cost by generating design alternatives to achieve the product cost targets.
 * Provide relevant reporting for cost decisions (status reports of ongoing activities, progress towards savings target implementation, and forward workshop planning).
 * Knowledge on Hardware Design ,Alternate component selection ,Datasheet comparison .
 * Knowledge on DRBFM,FMEA process ,WCA.
 * Knowledge on Analog circuit, Mixed Signal, Microcontrollers, Microprocessor .
 * Knowledge on PCB prototyping, Assembling and mechanical design.
