Alongside teaching, you will act as the school's primary IT contact, supporting users, maintaining systems and devices, and working with external providers to ensure technology supports learning effectively. This is a varied role that combines teaching, subject leadership, and practical IT management. Working closely with the Head, Bursar, colleagues across the school, and external partners, you will play a key role in maintaining and developing Pennthorpe's technology provision., * Lead the development of Computing across Years 1 to 8 * Teach Computing lessons and support technology-related enrichment opportunities * Monitor the quality of teaching, learning, and outcomes within the subject * Provide effective support for hardware, software, and user issues * Manage user accounts, permissions, devices, and aspects of the school's MIS * Support audio-visual requirements for assemblies, productions, and other school events * Promote online safety and responsible use of technology * Work with the Head of Finance & Operations and external IT providers to maintain secure and reliable systems
