As a Hardware Operations Manager at Google, you will lead Data Center Technicians managing the physical infrastructure behind Google's search technology. Your team installs, configures, and maintains server hardware, Linux clusters, and complex networking components like routers and switches, overseeing high-level installations and troubleshooting. In this role, you will manage critical initiatives across security, maintenance, and networking. Using data analytics, you will identify trends and drive improvements to tools and procedures. You will act as the primary escalation point for your sites, quantifying and resolving systemic issues. You will collaborate with Program Managers and Data Center Operations to provide strategic input on site planning, process changes, and task orders. Furthermore, you will manage projects to ensure they meet budget, timeline, and resource requirements, and resource needs. The AI and Infrastructure team is redefining what's possible. Responsibilities * Lead a team of individuals; set and communicate individual and team priorities that support organizational goals.
