## About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Lead Data Engineer to join a growing digital and data function based in central Leeds., You will be a Lead Data Engineer Developer with good communication skills and have prior experience within a similar position. The successful Lead Data Engineer should have strong problem solving abilities, organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

## Description

You will provide technical leadership across a team of Data Engineers, BI Developers, DBAs and SQL Developers, working on a range of business-critical projects using the latest Microsoft technologies. The organisation actively encourages innovation, collaboration and knowledge sharing, and you'll have the opportunity to drive projects from concept through to delivery with the support of senior leadership.

The organisation are huge on aiding with personal and professional development, including fully subsidised Microsoft certifications (DP-600/700 etc)
