## About the Role

* 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, ISSO support, information assurance, or security engineering
 * Experience with vulnerability scanning tools, security control validation, system hardening, identity and access management, logging, and auditing
 * Strong understanding of federal cybersecurity frameworks, compliance requirements, risk management practices, and continuous monitoring programs
 * Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
 * Active Top Secret Security Clearance, * Experience supporting federal modernization, defense, or national security programs
 * Familiarity with AWS cloud environments
 * Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipeline security, and automated security scanning
 * Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security+, or equivalent

## Description

* Lead cybersecurity governance efforts, ensuring compliance with federal security frameworks, policies, and standards
 * Maintain security documentation including System Security Plans (SSPs), POA&Ms, control evidence, and audit artifacts
 * Conduct continuous monitoring activities, vulnerability assessments, remediation tracking, and security reporting
 * Partner with engineering, cloud, DevSecOps, QA, and operations teams to implement security best practices throughout the system lifecycle
 * Support accreditation activities, incident response efforts, risk management initiatives, and leadership reporting on security posture
