## About the Role

* Proven experience in digital or IT project management
 * Experience managing projects within a structured organisation
 * Experience working with a range of internal and external stakeholders
 * Experience managing multiple priorities and delivering projects to agreed deadlines

Knowledge and Skills:

 * Strong organisational and communication skills
 * Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
 * Ability to coordinate project activities, timelines, resources and deliverables effectively
 * Ability to monitor project progress, identify risks and resolve issues promptly
 * Ability to maintain accurate project documentation, reports and status updates
 * Ability to work collaboratively with project teams, stakeholders and suppliers

Eligibility and Working Arrangements:

 * Right to work in the UK
 * Ability to work both at Mandela House, Cambridge and remotely as required

Desirable Requirements:

 * Experience delivering digital transformation projects
 * Experience working within local government or the public sector
 * Relevant project management qualification or professional certification
 * Experience working with public-sector policies and compliance requirements

Additional Information:

 * The successful candidate will be required to complete the client's standard pre-engagement compliance checks
 * CV submission and interview are required as part of the selection process
 * Employment references covering the previous two years will be required
 * Eligibility to work in the UK must be verified before engagement
 * Relevant qualifications, licences or professional registrations must be verified where legally required
 * The successful candidate will be required to comply with Cambridge City Council's agency worker policies, confidentiality requirements and contractual terms, * Do you have experience managing projects within a structured organisation, such as local government, the public sector, or a large corporate environment?
 * Do you have proven experience managing digital or IT projects from planning through to delivery?

Experience:

 * delivering digital transformation projects: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

 * PRINCE2 Certification (required)
 * Agile (required)

## Description

* Manage digital transformation projects from planning through to delivery
 * Coordinate project activities, timelines, resources and key deliverables
 * Work with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure projects meet agreed objectives
 * Monitor project progress, identify risks and resolve issues promptly
 * Maintain clear project documentation, reports and status updates
 * Support effective communication between project teams, stakeholders and suppliers
 * Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timescales and requirements
 * Contribute to the continuous improvement of digital and IT processes
