## About the Role

* Strong C#/.NET experience
 * ASP.NET Core and REST API development
 * SQL and relational database engineering
 * Experience with containerization and Linux deployments
 * Git and CI/CD experience
 * Azure DevOps Pipelines or GitHub Actions
 * Strong backend software engineering fundamentals

Desired Skills

 * Python
 * Industrial protocols such as MODBUS, OPC UA, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, or EtherCAT
 * Azure or AWS/Google Cloud Platform
 * Kubernetes, K3s, or MicroK8s
 * IoT or embedded device software
 * Experience working with sensor or time-series data
 * Grafana or analytics platforms, * Seniority level is flexible for strong candidates
 * Industrial protocol, PLC/SCADA, and Python experience are preferred but not required
 * Must be comfortable working onsite in North Raleigh

## Description

You'll design, build, and maintain the edge-to-cloud data pipeline, including containerized services, APIs, databases, and integrations with industrial controllers. You'll also work closely with Controls, HMI, Manufacturing, and Field Support teams and help mentor other engineers., * Build and maintain backend services and REST APIs

 * Develop edge-to-cloud data pipelines for IoT devices
 * Design database schemas, migrations, partitioning, and retention strategies
 * Build containerized services and deployment configurations
 * Integrate industrial controllers and equipment
 * Develop and test software on live production equipment
 * Contribute to system architecture and technical documentation
 * Work cross-functionally with engineering and manufacturing teams
 * Mentor junior engineers
