## About the Role

* Strong hands-on experience building production ETL/ELT and data pipelines
 * Databricks, Delta Lake, Jobs & Workflows
 * Strong Python/PySpark and SQL
 * Strong with DBT
 * Experience with Medallion Architecture - Bronze, Silver, Gold
 * Understanding of Unity Catalog, data governance, access control, permissions, groups, and schemas
 * Experience handling large, messy, and heterogeneous datasets
 * Data quality, validation, monitoring, and alerting
 * Git and collaborative development practices
 * Strong communication and ability to work with non-technical stakeholders

Strongly Preferred:

 * Unity Catalog Administration
 * Databricks, DBT
 * Delta Sharing
 * Databricks Workspace or Metastore administration
 * AWS
 * CI/CD and workflow orchestration
 * Data modeling and analytics engineering
 * R / Python
 * PII and data privacy experience
 * Public sector, nonprofit, or social-science data experience
 * GIS/geospatial or CKAN/open-data platform experience
