## About the Role

Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in Microsoft Office?, Fluent written and spoken English is a requirement for this post as reports to external customers and bodies will be required. Problem solving including root cause analysis and the implementation of corrective actions will form part of this role.

All applicants must have excellent communication skills, be computer literate and able to use Microsoft Office Suite.

A formal third level qualification in a food related discipline would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.

Initial training will involve internal training on quality systems and the completion of a third level qualification in Food Safety in Manufacturing and an Internal Auditing qualification.

All applicants must have access to their own transport and have a full driving licence as they will be required to travel as part of the Job.

## Description

The successful candidate will work within the Quality Assurance department covering a wide variety of work areas within the plant.

This will include as typical duties.

· Implementing and assisting in the development of the site HACCP system

· Carrying out checks on product during production to ensure compliance with customer requirements.

· Taking samples for analyses both on site and externally.

· Operate the onsite lab where required.

· Carrying out internal audits.

· Assist in the general development and implementation of the site Quality system.

The company generally only operates from a Monday to Friday except during peak production periods a few weeks of the year were working on a Saturday morning may be required.
