Physical Security & Infrastructure Knowledge * Strong understanding of: * Access control reader technologies * Cabling requirements and installation standards * Commercial door hardware and locking systems * Electronic locking principles * Ability to work across both physical security systems and supporting IT infrastructure. Security Standards & Compliance * Knowledge of MPSA grading requirements, including: * Grade 2 systems * Grade 3 systems * Understanding of supervised circuits, tamper detection, and monitoring principles. Design & Documentation * Experience producing technical designs and drawings using CAD or AutoCAD. * Proven ability to create high-quality technical documentation, standards, and installation guides. * Ability to define and document engineering best practices. Industry Experience * Senior-level experience (typically 10+ years) within security systems design, access control engineering, or related disciplines. * Experience working within highly secure or regulated environments with strict compliance requirements. This is a specialist role focused on the design, documentation, and implementation of physical security and electronic access control solutions. Working across both IT infrastructure and physical security systems, you will provide technical expertise from the server layer through to field hardware and door infrastructure.
