## Description

As Data Platform Lead, you'll take ownership of a modern cloud-based data platform while leading a team of Data Engineers. This is a genuine player-coach role, combining hands-on technical delivery with people leadership, giving you the opportunity to influence both the technical direction of the platform and the growth of the engineering team.

What you'll be doing: Data Platform Lead

 * Leading the development and evolution of a modern data platform built on AWS, Snowflake and dbt.
 * Managing, mentoring and developing a team of Data Engineers while setting engineering standards and best practice.
 * Designing and delivering scalable, high-quality data pipelines, reusable data models and trusted datasets that power analytics, reporting and future AI initiatives.
 * Owning the platform roadmap, balancing business demand, technical debt, resilience, scalability and future platform capability.
 * Working closely with stakeholders across Technology, Product, Analytics and the wider business to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.

Re-architecting data models and consumption layers

Supporting the delivery of new digital products and customer experiences
