## About the Role

* Proven experience in a data analyst or similar analytical role
 * Experience working with financial services or wealth management data
 * Strong SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasets
 * Advanced Excel skills and hands-on experience with Power BI
 * Experience using Microsoft Power Platform to build dashboards, automations, or applications
 * Strong understanding of data quality, data modelling, and governance principles
 * Able to translate complex data into clear insight for non-technical stakeholders
 * Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities
 * A proactive problem-solver with a track record of improving processes and efficiency
 * Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
 * Comfortable working across both technical and business teams
 * Interest in AI and emerging technologies, with a willingness to adopt new tools and approaches

## Description

You'll play a key role in shaping how data, automation, and AI are used across the business-working with cutting-edge tools including Power BI and Microsoft Co-pilot technologies. This is more than a reporting role; it's an opportunity to build scalable data products, improve processes, and influence how a modern wealth management firm leverages data.

This role will be based in our Edinburgh or Leeds office on a hybrid working basis, 3 days in the office with flexibility to work from home 2 days per week.

What You Will Be Doing

 * Analysing and transforming complex datasets into clear, actionable insight to support decision-making
 * Developing and maintaining dashboards and reports using Power BI
 * Improving data quality through cleansing, validation, and robust processes
 * Automating manual tasks using Power Platform tools such as Power Automate and low-code solutions
 * Managing and supporting data flows across systems, including API integrations
 * Investigating and resolving data issues to ensure accuracy and consistency
 * Collaborating with stakeholders across the business to understand requirements and deliver solutions
 * Supporting ongoing data transformation initiatives, including changes to systems and processes
 * Leveraging AI-assisted tools (e.g. Co-pilot) to improve efficiency and accelerate delivery
 * Driving continuous improvement in data practices, controls, and governance
