Essentials Skills required for this role: * Active listening * Rapport Building / interpersonal skills * Excellent communicator who can speak clearly and concisely. * Effective Problem solver * Good literacy and numeracy * Accuracy/ data entry * Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively and delegate tasks * Capacity to work in a demanding, fast-paced, high volume control room * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * You will be working with a custom-made rostering system and intricate remote monitoring systems; the successful candidate will therefore be IT literate. * An excellent understanding of Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite. * Ideally hold a valid SIA License although training will be provided for the right candidate. ## Description The main function of the role is to monitor CCTV across a major key account portfolio, complete programmed remote patrols, provide management information related to patrols, respond to and manage site incidents. Monitoring and CCTV patrols are completed overnight during the week and 24 hours at the weekend. The successful candidate will have broad experience of the security industry as well as exceptional administrative and communication skills. The SOC is the central hub of the organization and is responsible for coordinating several functions from our Head Office based in Glasgow City Centre. It is a fast-paced environment, providing proactive and reactive responses to several clients and staff members throughout the UK and Republic of Ireland. Duties include but are not limited to: * Ensure all required CCTV surveillance patrols are completed in line with specific customer requirements * A keen understanding of risk factors and the ability to develop effective mitigation and strategies to safeguard against potential threats. * Compile nightly reports where required for specific customers * Ensuring daily and weekly management reports are completed * Manage in real time any incidents that occur during shift, liaise with all necessary parties and compile incident reports * Ensuring that our rostering system is accurate and current across the portfolio, ensuring that staff members are logging on for shifts and completing welfare calls as necessary. * Responding to ad hoc requests, forwarding to appropriate managers and liaising with service partners as required. * Responding to staff and management queries within the portfolio in a timely manner. * Providing advice on incidents on portfolio that have been escalated to the Control Centre. * Completing appropriate paperwork whilst escalating issues where appropriate. * Taking ownership whilst dealing with high pressure situations, occasionally requiring communication with the emergency services. * Ability to demonstrate a proactive approach to problem solving with a reliable, positive and professional attitude. * Element of compiling reports and statistical data within and external
