(We highly value considered responses here) Education: * GCSE or equivalent (required) Experience: * Computer hardware: 2 years (preferred) * Computer repair: 2 years (preferred) ## Description As an IT Hardware Technician, you will primarily work within the Test & Audit department, where you'll test, validate, and quality check a wide range of IT equipment including servers, workstations, switches, and storage arrays to ensure they meet customer specifications and company standards. A key part of this role will involve hardware and component testing, including the validation and testing of large batches of components before they are stocked or deployed. Components tested may include RAM, HDDs, SSDs, graphics cards, PCI/PCIe cards, CPUs, and other enterprise hardware. This is a fast-paced and hands-on role requiring strong technical knowledge, excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and good communication skills. The successful candidate must be comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider team. We are looking for someone flexible and adaptable who is willing to support other departments and teams when required to meet business needs. Assisting across multiple operational areas will be an expected part of the role, offering variety and opportunities to broaden your technical experience and skill set..
