We welcome applicants from Engineer through to Principal Engineer level, with the level of appointment matched to your experience, technical depth and leadership capability. All of these roles are based at Leonardo's Edinburgh site. Due to the nature of the work, the roles are expected to be primarily site-based, typically around 4 to 5 days per week working at the Edinburgh site, although this may ebb and flow depending on the tasks, investigations, test campaigns and project needs. You will support the production and sustainment of Leonardo's Osprey and Seaspray Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) Airborne Surveillance Radar products, working on complex hardware across multiple radar variants and Line Replaceable Units (LRUs). This is not a narrow production support role. You will be involved in fault investigation, product upgrades, design changes, test improvement, qualification testing, obsolescence resolution and defect reduction. You will work closely with Operations and cross-functionally with Electronics, Mechanical, Systems, Software, Firmware and Test Engineering, as well as Supply Chain, Quality and Project Management. ## Related Videos - [More efficient software for more efficient microchips](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1164-more-efficient-software-for-more-efficient-microchips) - [Mutation Testing and Fuzzing in C#](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/703-mutation-testing-and-fuzzing-in-c) - [Playing Pong on a shoulder press machine](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100140-playing-pong-on-a-shoulder-press-machine) - [Agile work at CARIAD – Creating a customer web application for controlling the vehicle ](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/200-agile-work-at-cariad-creating-a-customer-web-application-for-controlling-the-vehicle) - [Test-reduction - Doing more with less](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/977-test-reduction-doing-more-with-less) - [Agent Smith Gets Hardware: Autonomous IoT Hacking From Debug Port to Cloud API](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100258-agent-smith-gets-hardware-autonomous-iot-hacking-from-debug-port-to-cloud-api) ## Related Articles - [Where To Find Software Engineering Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/396-where-to-find-software-engineering-jobs) - [Fully Remote Software Engineer Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/447-fully-remote-software-engineer-jobs) - [Data Engineer Salary UK](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/253-data-engineer-salary-uk) - [The 12 Best Jobs for Software Engineers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/401-the-12-best-jobs-for-software-engineers) - [Where to Find Entry-Level Software Engineering Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/397-where-to-find-entry-level-software-engineering-jobs) - [Is Software Engineering Over-Saturated?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/418-is-software-engineering-over-saturated)
