## About the Role

* Previous experience in an IT Support or IT Technician role.
 * Strong Microsoft 365 administration skills.
 * Experience with Microsoft Intune.
 * Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy and Windows Server.
 * Experience supporting Windows 10 and Windows 11.
 * Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VPN technologies.
 * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
 * Good communication and customer service skills.
 * Ability to prioritise workloads and work independently.
 * Full UK driving licence.

Desirable Skills

 * Windows Autopilot.
 * PowerShell.
 * Backup and disaster recovery solutions.
 * CCTV and access-control systems.
 * IT project, migration or deployment experience.
 * Microsoft, CompTIA, ITIL or networking certifications.
 * Experience within industrial, engineering, manufacturing or mining environments.

## Description

Tungsten West is looking for a hands-on IT Technician to join our team. You'll be the first point of contact for IT support across the business, providing first- and second-line support for users, devices, applications and infrastructure. Working closely with the IT Manager, you'll help maintain and improve our Microsoft 365, Intune and on-premises IT environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, supporting users and working with a broad range of technologies., * Provide first- and second-line IT support.

 * Act as the first point of contact for IT incidents and requests.
 * Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues.
 * Administer Microsoft 365, including Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
 * Manage devices and policies using Microsoft Intune.
 * Support Active Directory, Group Policy and Windows Server.
 * Build, deploy and maintain Windows 10 and Windows 11 devices.
 * Manage user accounts, permissions and access controls.
 * Support wired and wireless networks, VPNs and telephony systems.
 * Assist with cyber security, patching and backups.
 * Maintain IT asset and licence records.
 * Support IT projects, upgrades and deployments.
 * Liaise with external suppliers and support providers.
 * Assist with CCTV and access-control systems where required.
