## About the Role

* Eine abgeschlossene Ausbildung zum Techniker, ein Studium der Ingenieurwissenschaften, zum Beispiel Elektro- oder Informationstechnik, oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation.
 * Fundierte Kenntnisse in den Bereichen Elektrotechnik und Messtechnik, idealerweise mit Schwerpunkt auf Embedded Systems.
 * Gute Programmierkenntnisse, vorzugsweise in C/C++, sowie erste Erfahrungen mit Embedded-Software.
 * Wünschenswert sind Kenntnisse im Bereich Hardware-in-the-Loop-Testing und in der Versionsverwaltung (z. B. SVN).
 * Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse.
 * Erste einschlägige Berufserfahrung im genannten Umfeld, idealerweise 1-3 Jahre.

## Description

* Durchführung statischer und dynamischer Softwaretests im Bereich Embedded Systems mit dem Schwerpunkt funktionale Sicherheit.
 * Planung und Abschätzung von Testaufwänden für Kunden- und interne Projekte im Team.
 * Aufsetzen und Konfigurieren von Testumgebungen, einschließlich Testtools, Compilern und der erforderlichen technischen Dokumentation.
 * Erstellung und Prüfung von Testberichten zur Dokumentation der Ergebnisse.
 * Kommunikation mit Dienstleistungspartnern und Kunden zur Abstimmung von Aktivitäten und Einholung von Feedback.
 * Analyse und Lösung von Problemen während der Testausführung, zum Beispiel durch Überprüfung der Implementierung, Testfälle oder Spezifikation.
 * Verifikation und Validierung von Software gemäß Safety-Normen wie ISO 26262, IEC 61508.
 * Durchführung von Code- und Design-Reviews für sicherheitskritische Systeme.
