You'll ideally have: * Previous experience as an IT Manager, IT Operations Manager, Group IT Manager or similar * Experience managing an outsourced IT provider, MSP or third-party technology supplier * Strong Microsoft 365 / Office 365 knowledge * Experience with user access, permissions and identity/access governance * A good understanding of cyber security, vulnerabilities and remediation * Experience monitoring SLAs and supplier performance * An understanding of finance systems and segregation of duties * Commercial awareness around IT licensing, contracts and cost control * The confidence to challenge external suppliers and internal stakeholders when required * A structured and proactive approach to identifying and resolving recurring issues * The ability to communicate technical risks and recommendations clearly to non-technical senior stakeholders Experience working across a multi-site organisation would be particularly advantageous. ## Description Are you an experienced IT Manager looking for a role where you can take genuine ownership of IT operations, security and supplier performance without spending your day managing helpdesk tickets? We're recruiting an IT Manager to oversee and strengthen IT services across a growing multi-site organisation. Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll act as the key internal IT lead and the main point of accountability between the business and its outsourced IT provider. Your focus will be ensuring systems remain stable and secure, suppliers deliver against expectations, access is properly controlled and IT expenditure provides value for money. This is not a traditional hands-on helpdesk role. It's an opportunity to take ownership of the control, governance and performance of a multi-site IT environment. What you'll be doing * Take ownership of IT operations across a multi-site environment * Manage the relationship with the outsourced IT/MSP provider * Monitor supplier performance against SLAs and challenge where standards aren't being met * Identify recurring IT issues and ensure root causes are properly addressed * Oversee Microsoft 365 administration, governance and user access controls * Manage user permissions and joiner, mover and leaver processes * Review cyber security vulnerabilities and ensure remediation actions are completed * Help strengthen cyber resilience and wider IT security controls * Review IT licences, contracts and expenditure to identify efficiencies and cost savings * Support access controls and segregation of duties across finance and business systems * Oversee VOIP/telephony systems and associated suppliers * Conduct structured monthly IT health checks across company sites * Provide clear reporting on IT risks, supplier performance and improvement opportunities to senior management, This is an opportunity to take genuine ownership of IT across a growing organisation while working directly with the CFO and senior leadership team. Rather than being responsible for personally resolving every technical issue, you'll ensure the organisation's IT suppliers, systems, security controls and processes are performing as they should.
