## About the Role

* Experience in data governance, data quality, reporting or data management within a regulated environment.
 * Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, ownership models, lineage, metadata and controls.
 * Financial services experience, ideally in wealth, asset management, platform operations or retail investing.
 * Familiarity with Financial Crime, Consumer Duty, Operational Resilience and CASS requirements.
 * Proven ability to identify and resolve data issues with business stakeholders.
 * Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills.
 * Experience with governance tools such as Collibra and working with analytics or business intelligence teams.

## Description

* Support the implementation of data governance standards and practices across UKPI Operations.
 * Maintain data ownership, stewardship, definitions, inventories, lineage and governance records.
 * Develop and monitor data quality controls, reporting routines and performance metrics.
 * Investigate data quality issues and coordinate remediation with business and technology teams.
 * Collaborate with Operations, Risk, Compliance, Technology and CDAO teams on data improvements.
 * Improve operational data for performance monitoring, risk management, regulatory reporting and decision-making.
 * Promote data literacy, governance compliance and continuous improvement across UKPI Operations.
