## Description

Flying Eyes Optics is looking for a Full-Time Internal Tools & Business Systems Developer to help us build smarter applications, automations, and systems for our growing company.

This is not a traditional IT support role. You'll work directly with leadership and different departments to understand business challenges and turn them into practical technology solutions.

We're looking for someone who can take a project from idea to working application-including planning, development, testing, implementation, and ongoing improvement.

Because we're a small company, you should be comfortable working independently, solving problems, and taking ownership of your projects.

What You'll Do

 * Meet with leadership and employees to understand business needs.
 * Design and build internal applications and business tools.
 * Develop automations that reduce repetitive manual work.
 * Build and maintain databases, dashboards, and reporting tools.
 * Connect company systems using APIs and integrations.
 * Develop tools that work with ecommerce, marketing, customer service, inventory, accounting, and other business operations.
 * Test, troubleshoot, and improve applications.
 * Create clean, easy-to-use tools for non-technical employees.
 * Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and AI coding assistants as part of the development process.
 * Maintain appropriate security, permissions, and data-access controls.
 * Document applications, integrations, and processes.
 * Train and support employees using the tools you build.
 * Research new technology and AI solutions that could improve company operations.
