Relevant fields include computer science, information systems, data science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, accounting, finance, and economics. * Strong ability to understand and reason through complex relational data models, including schemas, relationships, foreign keys, and valid data states. * Demonstrated curiosity about how a business operates and the ability to learn an unfamiliar domain quickly by asking effective questions and building a strong understanding of expected outcomes. * Ability to read TypeScript and PHP well enough to understand application behavior and evaluate whether test code and AI-generated outputs are valid. * Solid understanding of the software testing lifecycle, including functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and user acceptance testing. * Strong judgment in evaluating test quality, including the ability to recognize tests that pass without meaningfully validating expected behavior. * Self-directed, detail-oriented, and comfortable working through ambiguity, changing requirements, and frequent releases without sacrificing quality. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate between technical teams and business users. * Working comfort with AI tools for generating test cases, test data, and scripts, or demonstrated aptitude and interest in making AI a regular part of the testing process. * Preferred experience with Vitest, Playwright, Angular Testing Library, Foundry or similar factory/seeding tools, relational data analysis, systems/ERP implementation, professional services, accounting, or advisory environments. ## Description * Design, build, and maintain automated test coverage, including unit, integration, end-to-end, and regression testing, across Angular frontends and Symfony/PHP APIs. * Maintain and extend the frontend unit test suite in Vitest, adding meaningful coverage as features are developed and the codebase evolves. * Create and maintain Foundry factories and test data that provide realistic development examples and stable records for automated testing. * Perform manual and exploratory testing when human judgment is more effective than automation in identifying quality or usability issues. * Own testing through user acceptance testing (UAT), including writing clear, non-technical test scripts and scenarios for Product and stakeholder review. * Triage, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps; verify fixes and confirm that changes do not introduce regressions. * Partner with Development and Product early to review specifications and acceptance criteria, identify edge cases, and build quality into the solution from the start. * Use AI tools to accelerate test case creation, exploratory test design, test data, and script authoring while independently validating all outputs. * Help define and maintain quality standards, test coverage expectations, and release-readiness criteria as the application portfolio grows.
