## About the Role

* Approximately seven years of experience in UK development infrastructure design, with expertise in highways and drainage engineering.
 * Strong ability to produce technical reports, coordinate designs and communicate effectively with clients, local authorities, statutory undertakers and multidisciplinary teams.
 * Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and industry-standard drainage design software such as MicroDrainage or InfoDrainage is advantageous.
 * Proactive approach to solving engineering challenges.

## Description

* Lead the technical delivery of highways and drainage designs across a broad range of development projects, from feasibility through to construction.
 * Produce and review drawings, calculations and technical reports including Drainage Strategies, Flood Risk Assessments and associated design documentation.
 * Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams and manage project programmes, supporting client relationships and identifying opportunities to add value.
 * Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians, overseeing the quality of project delivery.
 * Contribute to design reviews, challenge technical solutions where appropriate, and ensure projects are delivered efficiently, commercially and safely.
 * Continue developing technical and leadership skills through CPD, training and professional development, with support towards Chartership.
