Plusses Include: * Experience working with Python. * Previous exposure to AI governance, AI risk management, or regulatory considerations around AI adoption. * Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code and advanced DevSecOps practices. * Background leading architecture governance forums and technology strategy initiatives. ## Description The Architect & Senior Developer will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality software solutions across trading, operational, and regulatory platforms. This role will play a key part in defining and evolving enterprise architecture, modernising integration frameworks, and enhancing front, middle, and back-office systems. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient solutions while supporting the organisation's strategic technology initiatives., * Define and maintain architecture strategies across trading, clearing, and post-trade systems. * Lead the modernisation of integration frameworks, APIs, and messaging architectures. * Develop and govern enterprise data architecture to improve quality, security, and accessibility. * Drive architecture standards, best practices, and governance across technology teams. * Design highly resilient solutions that align with operational resilience and recovery objectives. * Ensure technology solutions meet regulatory and compliance obligations by design. * Support change management and incident management processes. * Mentor engineers and development teams on architecture, cloud-native development, and engineering best practices. * Champion DevSecOps, automation, and Infrastructure as Code initiatives. * Support the organisation's approach to secure, explainable, and compliant AI adoption.
