This software enables effective communication and data sharing between industrial (cyber-physical) systems and physical AI. You will own the embedded software architecture and act as design authority for ANGOKA's software stack (the ACS) and its associated HMI applications, with particular focus on embedded software - libraries, drivers, and applications - for low SWAP (Size, Weight and Power) Layer 2 and Layer 3 secure communication networking, including network orchestration and communication routing. You will report to the Engineering Director, with a dotted line to the CTO, and work alongside the Head of Hardware and other Technical Leads. This is a hands-on technical leadership role, combining deep embedded engineering credibility with people leadership, project ownership, and the ability to take concepts rapidly from prototype toward market., Embedded Architecture & Technical Authority * Design Authority: Own the embedded software architecture and act as design authority for ANGOKA's software stack (ACS) and associated HMI applications * Secure Comms Networking: Architect, develop, and deliver embedded software (libraries, drivers, and applications) for low SWAP Layer 2 and Layer 3 secure communication networking, including network orchestration and communication routing * Compliance by Design: Ensure embedded and HMI software designs meet stringent security, safety, and regulatory requirements, working toward compliance with standards such as MISRA, ISO/IEC 62443, DO-326A, UL2900-2-2, DO-178C, NIST SSDF, NIST Zero Trust Architecture, and NCSC Secure by Design * Technical Governance: Set and enforce rigorous embedded software design standards, code reviews, quality gates, and release management across the embedded and HMI codebase.
