A strong configuration-first instinct is fundamental to this role. Custom Apex is a last resort, and everything you build should be operable by non-engineering teams without developer involvement. Requirements: 5 or more years of hands-on Salesforce development with real depth in Apex and Lightning Web Components A demonstrable bias to configuration over bespoke build, with clear examples of steering clients or internal teams away from unnecessary custom code Strong judgement on where the boundary between configuration and code should sit, and the confidence to defend that position with clients Deep knowledge of Salesforce declarative automation, including when Flows are appropriate and when they are not Experience designing for maintainability so that support and operational teams can change the product without engineering involvement Strong Salesforce API and integration experience across REST and SOAP, with solid DevOps and CI/CD practice Confidence and credibility in client-facing settings, running technical calls, presenting trade-offs, and acting as the client's primary technical contact Practical, recent experience using AI coding assistants as part of day-to-day delivery. Genuine use since 2025 matters far more to this business than years on a CV If you are an experienced Salesforce technical leader with a strong configuration-first mindset and are open to exploring your next move, we would welcome a conversation. ## Description Job DescriptionRole: Lead Salesforce Technical ConsultantSalary: Up to £100,000 - DOE Location: London - Hybrid TechOhana have partnered with a growing technology business to bring on a Lead Salesforce Technical Consultant.
