## About the Role

* 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
 * Strong React and TypeScript experience.
 * Backend development experience with Node.js, Kotlin, Java, or comparable technologies.
 * Experience working with REST and/or GraphQL.
 * Hands-on experience with AWS or another major cloud environment.
 * Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
 * Experience implementing automated testing.
 * Knowledge of CI/CD and modern DevOps practices.
 * Experience with SQL/relational and NoSQL databases.
 * Experience developing or supporting distributed, production-scale systems.
 * Strong understanding of application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
 * Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with other teams.
 * Experience participating in architecture discussions and code reviews.

AI / Emerging Technology

Interest in AI is highly valued. You don't need to be an ML engineer, but experience applying AI technologies to software products is a plus.

## Description

* Build and enhance customer-facing web applications and backend services.
 * Develop frontend solutions using React and TypeScript.
 * Design and implement backend functionality using Node.js, Kotlin, Java, or similar technologies.
 * Create and integrate REST and GraphQL APIs.
 * Develop cloud-based applications and services using AWS.
 * Work with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
 * Design solutions that can scale as application usage and business requirements grow.
 * Participate in architecture, system design, and technical planning.
 * Write and maintain automated tests at multiple levels.
 * Support CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
 * Troubleshoot production issues and determine underlying causes.
 * Participate in peer code reviews and technical discussions.
 * Help improve development standards, engineering processes, and application quality.
