Desirable * Data or analytics-related certifications, such as in data management, data governance, or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) are desirable but not required. * Qualification(s) in data analysis or equivalent. * Familiarity with visualisation tools such as Looker, Tableau and/or Power BI. * Experience working in a global or multicultural context. * Understanding of Agile ways of working and product development cycles. A connected and trusted UK in a more connected and trusted world. ## Description The role sits as part of the Data Evidence and Performance (DEP) team is part of the Chief Operating Officer function which includes the central oversight and leadership for corporate planning, performance management, evaluation and reporting, the management of strategic risk and of investment, internal audit, shared services, marketing, digital and technology. The organisation operates a Hub and Spoke model for Data and Analytics: * The central Hub provides enterprise standards, tools, governance, advanced capability and corporate insight * Spokes embedded in business areas focus on operational and domain-specific analytics This role sits in the central Hub and has a cross-organisational remit, working closely with: * English and Exams and Cultural Engagement * Finance, Procurement, HR and Digital & Technology * BI Analysts embedded in Spokes The role operates in a complex global organisation with multiple data sources, varying maturity and high external accountability Role Purpose The Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst (corporate performance) plays a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making across the organisation. The role is responsible for delivering high-quality performance analysis, reporting and insight that supports enterprise decision-making, accountability and delivery of Strategy 2030. Working within the central Data Evidence and Performance (DEP) Hub, the role leads on corporate-level performance reporting, including KPIs, dashboards, management information (MI) and analysis for the Senior Leadership Team, Trustees and FCDO. The role ensures that performance insight is timely, accurate, consistent and trusted, drawing on enterprise data standards and governance.
