## About the Role

* Strong hands-on Azure Infrastructure as Code experience.
 * Strong experience with Terraform.
 * Experience with Bicep and/or Ansible.
 * Hands-on OpenShift / ARO deployment automation.
 * Strong CI/CD pipeline engineering experience.
 * Experience automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
 * Experience with automated application/environment deployments.
 * Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure and deployment environments.
 * Understanding of DevOps and automation best practices.
 * Experience supporting enterprise Azure environments.
 * Experience working on complex upgrade, migration or transformation programmes.

Eligibility & Security

 * SC Clearance required or candidate must be eligible and able to obtain it.
 * Ability to work 1-2 days per week onsite in Derby.

## Description

We are seeking an experienced Build Engineer - IaC Support & Configuration to support a major Maximo upgrade and migration programme within the Aerospace & Defence sector.

The programme involves the technical upgrade and lift-and-shift migration of an existing Maximo 7.6 environment running on Oracle to Maximo Application Suite (MAS) 9.x running on DB2, hosted in Azure Cloud.

The successful candidate will focus on Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Azure infrastructure automation, OpenShift/ARO deployment automation and CI/CD pipeline engineering., * Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions for Azure environments.

 * Use Terraform, Bicep and/or Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
 * Automate OpenShift / Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO) deployments.
 * Develop and maintain automated deployment processes.
 * Design, develop and support CI/CD pipelines.
 * Automate build, configuration and release activities.
 * Troubleshoot infrastructure provisioning and deployment issues.
 * Support configuration management across development, test and production environments.
 * Collaborate with DevOps, infrastructure and application teams to resolve technical issues.
 * Support the technical upgrade and migration of Maximo environments.
 * Contribute to environment standardisation and repeatable deployment processes.
