## About the Role

We're looking for someone with 3-5 years of practical IT experience who enjoys solving problems, working directly with users, and taking ownership of issues through resolution.

Experience supporting technology in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred, and experience in food manufacturing is especially valuable., * Minimum 3-5 years of professional IT experience

 * Previous help desk, desktop support, IT support or similar experience preferred
 * Experience supporting users in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
 * Food manufacturing experience highly preferred
 * Strong Windows and Microsoft Office troubleshooting skills
 * Working knowledge of computer hardware, printers, peripherals and basic networking
 * Ability to troubleshoot problems independently and know when to escalate
 * Strong customer-service and communication skills
 * Ability to prioritize multiple support requests in a fast-paced environment
 * Dependable, organized and comfortable working with employees at all levels of an organization
 * Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required

## Description

* Provide day-to-day help desk and technical support to employees
 * Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, printer and peripheral issues
 * Install, configure and support desktops, laptops, mobile devices and other IT equipment
 * Assist users with Microsoft Windows and common business applications
 * Diagnose technical problems and determine appropriate solutions
 * Set up equipment and technology for new employees and workstations
 * Support user accounts, access and basic network connectivity
 * Assist with hardware and software upgrades, replacements and IT projects
 * Provide hands-on technology support at manufacturing facilities and other company locations
 * Work with vendors and other members of the IT team to resolve more complex issues
 * Maintain accurate documentation of support requests, equipment and completed work
 * Communicate clearly with users regarding issue status and resolution
 * Participate in technology rollouts and other companywide IT initiatives
