## About the Role

* 1-2 years of intense software engineering experience with a proven track record as an expert-level individual contributor
 * Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, React, Next.js, and Python
 * Hands-on experience building with LLMs and AI agents in production systems
 * Deep understanding of repository architecture and management
 * Familiarity with the developer tools ecosystem - VSCode extensions, CLIs, third-party integrations

## Description

We are seeking a Forward Deployed AI Engineer to serve as an embedded technical expert building and deploying AI-enabled solutions across a global supply chain and sourcing organization. This role is approximately 70% coding and 30% stakeholder engagement, partnering directly with business operators, product owners, and subject matter experts to take use cases from requirements gathering through production deployment.

You will rapidly prototype using ontologies and AI, then scale proven patterns into robust production systems. You will design end-to-end workflows connecting ontology objects, data integrations, models, and applications, and own the technical execution of assigned sourcing and supply chain use cases.

What you'll do

 * Build, configure, test, and refine application functionality with product owners and end users
 * Design workflows connecting ontology objects, data integrations, models, and applications
 * Diagnose complex system behaviors across data pipelines, ontologies, and deployment environments
 * Support user acceptance testing, production validation, and post-deployment issue resolution
 * Document technical decisions, design logic, assumptions, and dependencies
