Responsibilities will include: * Assemble marine sub-systems and support functional testing activities to assist with system validation and sea-readiness. * Build and test marine propulsion components - including engines, gearboxes, and waterjets - to a high standard, ensuring full readiness for installation. * Proactively identify , report, and provide input on any defects or issues encountered during vessel construction and system installation. * Install sub-system components into the vessel in line with marine engineering specifications and design requirements. * Report defects, material issues, or unclear documentation promptly. and through the correct process. * Accurately interpret and follow detailed work instructions, including those provided via 3D models and digital platforms, in a marine engineering environment. * Support the full fit-out of vessels, ensuring all equipment and systems are installed accurately, securely, and to specification. * Rigorously follow safety procedures, work instructions, and project schedules to ensure timely and compliant delivery. * Consistently produce work to the highest quality standards, with a strong focus on safety, reliability, and marine compliance. * Attend relevant meetings and offer constructive, experience-based feedback to support continuous improvement and build efficiency. * Travel to and support off-site marine craft testing, trials, or commissioning activities if required , seeing the craft through to commissioning to ensure a smooth handover and operational readiness. Aid the operations team with routine and reactive maintenance tasks and provide hands-on technical assistance as needed. *
