Desirable experience is advantageous but is not required., * Commercial experience testing software in a professional environment. * Hands-on experience carrying out manual and functional testing. * Experience planning and executing regression testing. * Experience using Jira or a similar issue-tracking tool to report and track defects. * Experience working within an Agile/Scrum team. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Clear written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain issues to technical and non-technical colleagues. * Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work independently, prioritise testing activities and use your own initiative. Desirable Experience The following would be useful, but are not required: * Automated testing using Playwright, Cypress or Selenium. * API testing using Postman or similar tools. * SQL knowledge. * Performance testing. * ISTQB Foundation Certification or an equivalent qualification. We're looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, collaborates well with developers and wants to help improve our QA capability as the company grows. ## Description We're looking for a proactive Software QA Engineer to join our development team and help improve the quality and reliability of our platform. The Role You'll work in a small Agile sprint team alongside our CTO and software developers, testing new features, investigating issues and helping the team release software with confidence. The role has a strong focus on manual, functional, exploratory and regression testing. You'll take ownership of testing activities and help improve our QA processes, documentation and approach to release testing.
