As our Senior Software Development Engineer you will partner closely with software developers, product managers, and project stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle, and serve as the local expert coordinating automation work carried out by Mettler Toledo's globally distributed testing teams. What You'll Do: * Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites for AutoChem software products. * Own the test automation framework end to end, extending and evolving it to keep pace with product architecture and new testing needs. * Manage automated test source, pipelines, and work items within Azure DevOps. * Analyze software architecture for testability, partnering with developers on design decisions that make new features easier to test. * Participate in code reviews and design discussions with developers. * Define and track quality metrics and use them to drive continuous improvement in automated testing. * Serve as the local subject matter expert for the team's globally distributed test automation resources * Identify, document, and prioritize defects with accurate severity assessments * Champion scalable automation strategies and best practices that accelerate release cycles and improve product reliability.
