## About the Role

* Demonstrated experience independently providing helpdesk and desktop support in a business environment.
 * Strong troubleshooting skills across desktop hardware, operating systems, applications, and peripherals.
 * Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management.
 * Experience with desktop imaging, device provisioning, software deployment, and patching.
 * Ability to troubleshoot business applications and coordinate resolution with vendors or other technical resources.
 * Experience supporting printers and coordinating with managed print service providers.
 * Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
 * Ability to quickly become productive and manage daily onsite support with minimal supervision.
 * Availability to work onsite for the anticipated 3-6 month engagement.

## Description

Buchanan Technologies is seeking an experienced Senior Desktop Support Specialist for an onsite engagement supporting a banking environment. This individual will serve as the primary onsite resource for daily helpdesk support, desktop application support, endpoint management, and printer fleet coordination.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on troubleshooter who can quickly learn the environment, prioritize competing needs, and independently manage day-to-day support with minimal supervision., * Provide daily helpdesk and desktop support, troubleshooting end-user hardware, software, application, and printer issues.

 * Support banking desktop applications, including installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, and coordination with application vendors as needed.
 * Perform desktop patching and verify successful updates, addressing failures or compatibility issues.
 * Build, image, configure, and deploy desktops and laptops.
 * Use Microsoft Intune to support endpoint configuration, application deployment, updates, and device troubleshooting.
 * Support the printer fleet and oversee service delivery from the printer management company, including tracking issues and coordinating repairs.
 * Take ownership of support requests through resolution, communicate status clearly, and escalate issues requiring additional assistance.
 * Maintain practical documentation of configurations, procedures, and recurring issues.
 * Follow established IT security and change-management procedures.
