## About the Role

* Strong commercial Python software development experience
 * FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Pydantic and PostgreSQL exposure
 * Excellent REST API design and systems integration knowledge
 * Experience modelling complex infrastructure or configuration data
 * Knowledge across at least two areas of networking, storage, bare metal, virtualisation or cloud
 * Kubernetes or cloud-native engineering experience
 * A background building automation for large, complex technology environments
 * Experience with CMDB platforms, network automation, event-driven architectures, Terraform, Ansible or high-performance infrastructure would be valuable

## Description

* Building production-grade services and automation primarily in Python
 * Designing REST APIs and integration layers across infrastructure platforms
 * Developing CMDB services, schemas and infrastructure data models
 * Creating event-driven automation workflows and self-service capabilities
 * Integrating vendor and internal APIs across compute, networking, storage and cloud
 * Working closely with infrastructure, platform, security and application engineering teams
