## About the Role

Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in Network installation?, * Minimum 3 years experience installing, terminating and testing data cabling

 * Experience with CCTV and Intruder Alarm systems advantageous (training can be provided)
 * Qualifications in Network Infrastructure and/or Fibre Optic Installation advantageous
 * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
 * Good customer service and communication skills
 * ECS Card advantageous
 * IPAF Certification advantageous
 * PC literate
 * Full clean UK driving licence essential
 * Ability to pass a DBS check
 * Physically fit and comfortable working at height and in confined spaces., * Network engineering: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

 * Full UK Driving Licence (required)

## Description

This is a varied, hands-on role supporting both business and residential clients across a wide range of IT systems, networking, infrastructure, and support environments. No two days are ever the same!

We also welcome applications from those with a background in CCTV & Intruder Alarm Installation and Servicing.

What You'll Be Doing

 * Installing, terminating and testing data cabling including Cat6 and Fibre
 * Installing and servicing CCTV and Intruder Alarm systems
 * Installing and troubleshooting IP Networks and Wi-Fi Systems
 * Preparing and programming equipment prior to installation, including CCTV systems, intruder alarms, network switches, and associated hardware
 * Supporting phone systems and onsite IT infrastructure
 * Carrying out annual servicing, fault finding and repairs
 * Conducting onsite troubleshooting alongside in-house IT Technicians
 * Installing conduit, trunking and containment when required
 * Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
 * Carrying out PAT testing
 * Conducting site surveys and assisting with job planning
 * Visiting residential and business client sites daily
 * Working independently and as part of a team
 * Maintaining accurate customer documentation and timesheets
