## About the Role

You should have strong hands-on experience across:

 * Wireshark
 * PCAP / packet capture
 * Network traffic analysis
 * Network sniffing
 * tcpdump
 * TCP/IP
 * DNS
 * HTTP / HTTPS
 * Network protocols and troubleshooting
 * Python and/or SQL

Experience with GCP / Google Cloud, BigQuery, Pub/Sub or Dataflow would be beneficial, but it is not essential. ## Description

* Capturing and analysing network traffic using Wireshark, PCAP and tcpdump
 * Investigating network behaviour at packet and protocol level
 * Analysing TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, ports, protocols and traffic flows
 * Filtering packet captures to identify patterns, anomalies and potential issues
 * Troubleshooting network connectivity, latency, routing and protocol issues
 * Extracting, transforming and analysing technical/network data
 * Using Python and SQL to work with network, telemetry or data sets
 * Working alongside data, networking and security teams
 * Supporting cloud-based data and network environments
