This is a fully remote opportunity for professionals who thrive in enterprise-scale infrastructure support and operational excellence. Your new role As a Wintel Engineer, you will be responsible for the administration, maintenance and support of Microsoft-based infrastructure, ensuring platform stability, security compliance, service availability and the successful delivery of infrastructure changes. Key responsibilities * Administer and support Windows Server environments across physical, virtual and Azure platforms. * Support and maintain Azure Local solutions. * Manage Active Directory, PKI, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP services. * Perform server provisioning, patching, upgrades and lifecycle management. * Work with Microsoft System Center technologies including Virtual Machine Manager, Configuration Manager, Operations Manager and Orchestrator. * Support VMware and Hyper-V virtualisation platforms. * Monitor system performance, capacity and availability. * Execute Incident, Problem and Change Management activities in line with ITIL processes. * Participate in Major Incident resolution and root cause analysis. * Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures and runbooks. * Ensure compliance with security, governance and audit requirements. * Support disaster recovery and business continuity activities.
