## About the Role

Degree or technician qualification in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or similar

 * Experience in cable harness or peripheral design (robotics/automotive a plus)
 * Knowledge of cable carrier/torsion applications and connector systems
 * Confident use of 3D CAD (cable-routing modules a plus)
 * Hands-on, detail-oriented way of working
 * Good command of German and English, written and spoken

## Description

As a Design Engineer for peripherals, you're responsible for cable harnesses, feedthroughs, connectors, and mechanical interfaces across our robotic systems. Your goal: solutions that keep performing reliably in moving axes under bend-cycle and torsion loads.

Your main tasks include:

 * Design and routing of cable harnesses in moving robot axes
 * Selection and specification of cables, connectors, and feedthroughs
 * Design of mechanical interfaces (mounting flanges, covers, seals)
 * Ensuring lifetime reliability (bend cycles, torsion) through testing and supplier coordination
 * Creating drawings and manufacturing documentation for the peripherals
