Essential qualities are strong organisational/time management skills with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure. Flexibility is required as the post holders will be required to work across UHDB. Applicants should have demonstrable experience of working in a busy customer-focussed or care environment or have call handling and reception experience. Applicants must be experienced in using IT systems and/or appointment systems although training will be given. Core skills/qualifications include: educated to English Language and Mathematics at O' level/GCSE level, IT literacy, good written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work as part of a team and individually, with minimal supervision., * Demonstrates the experience and ability to communicate across different staff groups both verbally and in a written form, * Demonstrates experience working with different IT systems and managing data * Good working knowledge of MS Office * Experience handling multiple data sources (across IT systems and paper based), * Demonstrates experience and the ability to prioritise their own workload * Demonstrates experience managing multiple tasks, * Good standard of English GCSE or equivalent. ## Description We require an enthusiastic, organised and flexible individual to support patient scheduling and reception duties within the Imaging Business Unit at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton (UHDB) NHS Foundation Trust. The Imaging Business Unit is a diverse and exciting department with services delivered across 2 acute hospitals at Royal Derby Hospital and Queens Hospital Burton as well as 7 community sites throughout Derbyshire and East Staffordshire. Responsibilities of this role will include reception duties, administration and clerical support for the scheduling of patients requiring diagnostic tests across a number of different clinical areas within Imaging, e.g. X-Ray, Ultrasound, CT Scan, MRI Scan, Nuclear Medicine, Bone Density.
