## About the Role

* 3-5 years of professional experience building production software in Python
 * Experience with FastAPI (or a similar web framework)
 * Strong SQL skills and hands-on production experience with SQLalchemy/PostgreSQL
 * Professional experience with Docker
 * Solid understanding of RESTful API design
 * Solid grasp of Git and standard version-control workflows in a team environment
 * Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles, * Hands-on experience with ClickHouse or another columnar/OLAP database
 * Experience with Go or Rust, or strong aptitude to pick it up quickly
 * Professional experience processing large volumes of data (complex data pipelines)., * Track record of shipping and owning features in production
 * Clear communicator - able to explain technical decisions to peers and work directly with product
 * High attention to detail; accuracy is critical when outputs feed into regulatory filings

## Description

* Design, build, and ship features independently, from technical design through deployment
 * Maintain and lead the improvement of existing features within the application
 * Write efficient, well-tested code
 * Review code and provide constructive feedback to peers and junior engineers
 * Mentor junior engineers on Python best practices and software design
 * Collaborate with QA, product, and senior engineers to ship reliable, accurate features, * Flexible holiday: choose when you take your holidays by swapping bank holidays if you would like
