Under the End User Support Operations Support (EUSOS) contract, this role owns the technical roadmap, architectural baselines, and engineering integrity of communication hubs supporting over 15,000 distributed federal workers and executives., * Architect, standardize, and maintain the blueprint configurations for all USPTO conference rooms, executive boardrooms, hearing rooms, and hybrid collaboration spaces * Engineer the precise interfaces where AV hardware meets backend IT infrastructure. Partner with Network Operations to design optimal Multicast/Unicast configurations, VLAN segmentation, and Quality of Service (QoS) mappings for flawless AV-over-IP (AVoIP) delivery * Collaborate with Security Operations & Enterprise Monitoring to ensure all AV/VTC endpoint firmware, control code, and UC applications fully comply with federal security guidelines, including NIST 800-53 controls and DISA STIGs * Serve as the absolute technical backstop for the contract. Diagnose and resolve complex, intermittent, or systemic AV/VTC failures that defeat Tier 1-3 operational technician teams * Lead technical forensic investigations into major collaboration space outages or systemic bugs.
