## About the Role

This position may be full-time or part-time and is scheduled to work standard business hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Overtime is not expected for this role., * Documented advanced network training and 7+ years of demonstrated network engineering experience.

 * CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DOD IAT Level 2 security certification.
 * Cisco Certified Network Associate.
 * Certified in Wireshark Certified Network Analyst or RCPE Professional Packet Analyzer Plus.
 * Experience with VMware (vCloud).
 * Experience with Data Storage technologies.
 * Experience with System Administration of MS Windows Server or Linux.
 * Experience with Security Boundary Technologies e.g., firewalls and IDS/IPS.
 * Experience with Network Modeling applications/tools (ex: GNS3).
 * Experience with a Scripting Language (ex: Perl, Python, PowerShell, Linux Shell, etc.).
 * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related Information Technology, or equivalent operational experience (desired).
 * Cisco Certified Networking Professional or Cisco Certified Design Professional (Route/Switch) (desired).
 * VMware Certified Professional Cloud Specialist (desired).
 * Certification in a Network Operating System (ex: MS Windows Server, Linux, etc.) (desired).
 * Certification in IPv6 (desired).
 * Other duties as assigned
